Free during beta — for consultants juggling too many clients

Walk into every client call with total recall.

Six clients, thirty calls a month, and nobody to hand the notes to. Lunar records without a bot, writes the recap the moment the call ends, and keeps every client history one question away. You bill for the work, not for the write-up.

macOS today, Windows soon — works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams

Why consultants switch

You are the delivery team, the note-taker, and the account manager. Drop one.

Reload a client in thirty seconds

Ask what you agreed with them last month and get the answer with the source. No scrolling three months of notes before a call you are already late for.

Unbilled hours come back

The write-up after every call is work you never invoiced. Lunar does it while you close the laptop.

Nothing slips between clients

Action items are filed the moment they are said, into the right client project — not into a mental list that has to survive until Friday.

How it works

From call started to invoice-ready recap

1. It starts without being asked

Lunar notices the call starting and offers to record — so a client conversation is never lost because you were switching contexts and forgot. It captures mic and system audio on your machine: no bot to admit to, no link to paste.

2. Ask instead of scrubbing back

Third call of the day and the names start to blur? Ask what they just said without asking them. Live in-meeting chat answers from the transcript as it is being written — recap the last five minutes, list what you have committed to, check whether the deadline came up.

3. The follow-up is already done

Afterwards you get a recap you can send as it is: decisions, commitments, next steps, no filler. The action items become Jira issues in that client's project — review, click, done — and every call stays searchable for the day someone asks what you agreed back in March.

Built for a calendar with six clients in it

Context switching is the tax on working for yourself.

Lunar fixes that for the calls consultants actually have.

Discovery calls

The whole brief captured while you listen properly, instead of half-listening and typing.

Weekly check-ins

A recap in the client inbox before you are already on the next call.

Advisory sessions

Every recommendation on the record, so the value you delivered is still visible at renewal.

Handover and offboarding

Leave behind a searchable history instead of a folder full of recordings.

Private by architecture, honest by policy

Every client's calls stay on your machine until you sign in; sign in and it syncs. Transcription can run fully on-device — your choice, which matters when you are the one who signed the NDA. When a feature uses the cloud, we say so, exactly and in plain language. Built by an EU company; the security page shows the exact data flow.

Frequently asked questions

I am one person. Is this overkill?

It is the opposite. A team can hand the write-up to someone else. You cannot — which is exactly why the hour after every call is the one worth automating.

Can I keep clients properly separated?

Each client gets its own folder, bound once to its own Jira project with a default issue type and assignee. Nothing crosses over, and nothing has to be sorted afterwards.

Will a client see a bot join the call?

No. Lunar is a desktop app that captures your microphone and your computer's system audio directly. It never appears in the participant list — Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or any other call.

Can I search across every client at once?

Yes. Ask a question and get an answer with its source, whether the thing was said last week or two quarters ago.

How is Lunar different from Otter, Fireflies, or Granola?

Bot-based tools like Otter and Fireflies join the call as a visible participant and process the audio in their cloud. Granola records bot-free but its output is a note. Lunar combines bot-free capture, local-first sessions, and Jira-native output: what you committed to becomes a ticket, not a paragraph you still have to act on.

How much does it cost?

Lunar is free during beta. Recording, transcription, recaps, Jira issue creation, and sharing are all included. Paid plans come later — beta users hear about pricing first, and there will be one sized for a single person.

The write-up is the part nobody pays you for.
